A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for an experienced Quality Specialist Technical Writer. You’ll be immersed in the development and refinement of operational procedures that align with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards, following Siemens Energy’s Business Process Model Notation 2.0. Your day will involve collaborating with subject matter experts, reviewing existing documentation, and authoring clear, compliant, and user-friendly procedures that support our quality and compliance goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop, revise, and maintain high-quality documentation for business processes and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather technical information and translate it into clear, structured, and standardized documentation.  Facilitate workshops and interviews to gather process knowledge from subject matter experts.
• Support the harmonization of procedures across business units, identifying opportunities for alignment and simplification and support in driving digitalization initiatives by contributing to the design and implementation of digital documentation platforms and workflows.
• Provide guidance and training on documentation standards and best practices and support the stakeholders by ensuring documentation is audit-ready and stays compliant and up to date according to ISO standards

• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in technical writing and process documentation, preferably within a quality, manufacturing, energy, or industrial services environment.
• Experience working with SOPs, work instructions, and other controlled documents.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems. Open to expanding knowledge and training beyond technical writing to assist in other regulated functions as needed.
• Strong understanding of document control principles and document control systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable speaking to groups with the ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately.
• inimum of 2-5 years of familiarity with digitial documentation tools and Quality Management Systems
