Responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the development of high-quality, competitive, and strategically aligned proposals. This includes analyzing client requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing bid strategies, and ensuring timely submission, all while maximizing value for Siemens Energy and the client.

How You’ll Make an Impact (see Example of activities)

• Prepare technical and commercial offers and offers calculations in response to requests for proposals from customers and careful review and editing of offers to meet bid requirements.
• Apply engineering knowledge and coordinate with operations teams to ensure proposals are technically accurate and feasible.
• Work collaboratively with sales teams to identify and qualify sales opportunities and other support teams, including finance, to ensure proposals meet customer needs and company objectives.
• Participate in customer meetings to understand their needs and requirements.
• Assist in managing contracts and executing customer orders.
• Perform competitive market and price trend analysis to help formulate competitive proposals and maintain databases of proposals, prices and customer information.
• Help create and maintain supporting documents for sales processes, including proposal templates and price lists.

What You Bring  ( see example of activities)

• University Degree in engineering (electrical, control, electronics, mechanical or similar)
• Professional Experience Bid process and Engineering (+5 years)
• Technical Knowledge with DCS, Control Systems, AVR and Digitalization products
• English at professional working profiency level.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of time
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.

About the team: 

The selected person will work in the department GS CD, where we are responsible for Servicing Installed Base Power Plant Control Systems and Digitalization. The Specialist Professional is responsible to coordinate all offer activities to achieve specific goals in diverse products, customers request and amounts based in BU Strategy and support other team members.
