A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Manager for HV Substations, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, budget supervision, scheduling, and team coordination to ensure successful project execution. You will maintain and manage relationships with customers, technical management, and external suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will report on project progress, manage risks, and represent the company in discussions with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely completion.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Managing the entire project of building High Voltage power substations, including planning, budget supervision, scheduling of work, and coordination of the project team.
- Reporting on the current budget and its forecasts.
- Maintaining and managing relationships with customers and the technical management of the Investor.
- Supervising and coordinating risk management activities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality standards, and adherence to applicable regulations during project implementation.
- Communication with the customers, external suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and compliant project execution.
- Reporting on the progress of work and identifying and resolving any issues during project implementation.
- Representing the company in discussions with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
What You Bring
- Professional experience in managing construction projects, preferably of HV substations/network.
- Higher technical education related to construction, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- Effective communication skills in Polish and English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under time pressure, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) would be an additional asset.
- Strong negotiation and team working skills.
- Category B driving license.
- Professional certifications in project management or engineering are advantageous.
- Prior experience working with major utilities, EPC contractors, or power equipment manufacturers is beneficial.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in power substations is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for work 20-30% of the time to project sites.
