The Project Management officer (PMO) serves as a hub for project oversight, governance and support, ensuring that projects are executed effectively and aligned with business objectives.
How you will make an impact
· Project Coordination and Management
- Strong ability to understand and clearly define project charter and scope as well as its boundaries.
- Identification and management of dependencies and risks.
- Development and continuous adjustment of project management plans at both overall and individual project levels outlining deliverables, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
· Project Planning:
· Strong ability to understand and clearly define project charter and scope as well as its boundaries.
· Development and continuous adjustment of project management plans at both overall and individual project levels outlining deliverables, timelines, budgets and resource requirements.
· Identification and management of dependencies and risks.
· Project Controlling:
· Monitoring of technical and financial project performance. Identify potential issues or risks and implement corrective measures to keep project on track.
· Conducting regular variance analyses and budget tracking.
· Ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
· Reporting:
- Preparing and participating in strategic management meetings.
- Preparing regular project status reports and presentations.
- Conduct monthly project reviews.
What you bring
- A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field.
- You have at least 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a PMO environment and have a PMP certification/designation.
- Strong skills in project definition, planning, management, and controlling.
- Leadership experience with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in French
- Fluency in English is a plus.
