A Snapshot of Your Day

The Weekend Production Supervisor is responsible for manufacturing products using safe and efficient manufacturing processes through the management of the production team members. Oversee the production process making sure products are produced safely ensuring the highest quality and timeliness and with a commitment to process improvement and business initiatives including Six Sigma, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing. Under minimal direction, supervises all production employees, safety, scheduling assignments, work center balancing, monitoring of fulfillment of customer production and quality requirements, control of scrap and rework, efficiency, application of overtime, and documentation of these activities. The incumbent will act as the primary contact for in-house departments for production related issues in the assigned area and must be able to manage a diverse group of people, motivating staff to work together as one team. Strong leadership skills are the most important personal requirement that allows the Production Supervisor to perform within the role.


Work Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:30am to 6:00pm


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Enforce safe work practices, address violations, and support OSHA compliance to ensure a safety-first culture on the plant floor.
  • Supervise daily operations, resolve production issues, manage staffing and training, and authorize overtime as needed.
  • Coach and develop team members, mediate personnel issues, and conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Monitor customer requirements, adjust schedules, and ensure accurate attendance and performance documentation.
  • Analyze production reports, make data-driven decisions, and align results with short- and long-term goals.
  • Lead and participate in lean/continuous improvement initiatives, demonstrating strong production management and decision-making skills.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or Associate’s with equivalent experience) or 10+ years of manufacturing supervision experience.
  • 2+ years of direct supervisory experience and 5+ years in manufacturing, specifically in welding and machining environments.
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, MRP systems, and Quality Control processes.
  • Experienced in working within multi-disciplinary teams and resolving conflicts, particularly with hourly workforces.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; prior knowledge of Siemens Energy systems, products, and customers is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization (internal transfers may be eligible).
