A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Procurement Professional for Capex Equipment on the Charlotte, NC Campus you will join a highly motivated, knowledgeable and diverse team. You will report to and work closely with the head of the department and the Plant staff every day. During your daily routine you will collaborate with different stakeholders and utilize multiple systems and tools to collect input and execute orders. Your critical thinking will be crucial to make educated decisions and trigger next steps. You will prepare, execute and project-manage crucial purchasing actions for our plants, interacting with internal or external partners and strive for efficiency and perfection. As an integral part of the Procurement Staff, you will be able to rely on a strong committed team.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

· Close interaction with the Factories related to their CAPEX plans

· End -to-end process ownership for procuring needed assets

· Communication and coordination with external suppliers

· Compliance with prescribed procedures

· Ensure on-time delivery and cash flow expectations

· Delivering savings compared to budget

What You Bring 

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related fields (Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Data Sciences / Economics)

· 10+ years’ experience in related field

· Ability of utilizing diverse end-user and ERP systems

· Project Management skills

· Openness for new, quick learning & adaptability, cope with time-pressure

· Collaboration, sense of urgency and customer focus are key

· Result orientation, deliver-on-time and high-quality mindset

· Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
