A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Order Management Specialist, you will be in charge for part of the procurement process for the projects of the Grid Technology department's portfolio, placing orders in SAP, tracking deliveries, processing invoices, preparing payments to suppliers.

Involvement in the reporting area (for savings and other KPIs related to the purchasing area)

Mode of employment: fixed-term contract (2 years)

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Deliver efficient logistic support for ongoing projects (issuing purchase orders, obtaining order confirmation, tracking deliveries, stock and documentation management) and support the logistics experts in regards of export & customs control as well as during the shipment process.
• Run the acquisition process, following the company’s and country laws’ rules and procedures; contact person for suppliers (in relation to commercial issues).
• Responsible for improving the procurement system, defining new materials or equipment, and supporting claim management tasks during execution phase.
• Close cooperation and exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong support and development of cost out measure in collaboration with sales, engineering and project management.
• Monitor the project’s demand, cost and time schedule and proactively ensure the team’s information flow.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in related order management functions, contract management, project procurement, project management within Energy Grid Technology, with a solid understanding of contractual law.
• Excellent negotiation negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
• Strategic and results-driven mindset, capable of challenging the status quo, driving change, and delivering continuous performance improvements across the supply chain.
• Self-motivated, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn, with a passion for digitalization and innovation in supply chain processes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and SAP, with the ability to leverage digital tools effectively.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and willing to travel as required.
