A Snapshot of Your Day

For our Electromechanical team in Generator Department, we are looking for an intern from 6-12 months to help developing and maturing the direct drive technology. You will be working with highly experienced team of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Generator team based in Brande developing and maintaining generators for Onshore and Offshore wind turbine applications.

You will be at the cutting edge of technology development, together with our committed colleagues, working with new concepts as well as maturing existing designs. We work closely with every part of the value chain, from the first steel is cut to the service technician.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Take part on design and development of electrical and electromechanical components of generator stator.
• Taking part in building test setup for electrical and electro-mechanical design verification and validation
• Take part of generator electrical testing
• Take part in turbine measurement for generator electrical parameters.
• Perform small calculations in MATLAB for analyzing test data

What You Bring

• Undergraduate Student of Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering area.
• Preferably have taken some courses in electrical machines like synchronous and asynchronous motor/generators , transformers or similar.
• Willing to work hands on with experienced colleagues in the Lab and workshop.
• Can work comfortably in a multidisciplinary team, good verbal communication and written skill in English . Danish speaking skill is preferred.
