A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be part of an Enterprise Data and Platform Service team you will be responsible for Data and Information Architecture. You need to have a strong technical, analytical, and product background as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. As an Information and Data Architect, you will work with the different project and solution teams to support them with architecture guidance and assure the data platform meets the capabilities and requirements of the different stakeholders. You will also support different Governance programs like the Data Mesh implementation and rollout.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Identification, definition and analysis of how information assets aid strategies and business outcomes per major business process.
- Lead the data design of solutions for projects and programs.
- Support the harmonization and integration of multiple data platforms by providing a robust and future proof design.
- Consult domains in their data architecture and work on recommendations for improvements.
- Understanding business needs and translating them into requirements and data models. You will have the ability to balance requirements of the business need with business value.
- Support different Data Governance initiatives with technical architecture like Data Mesh rollout, Metadata Management and Data Quality.
- In addition, you keep up to date of latest developments in data science principles, theories, and techniques to support the business in making truly data-driven decisions.
- You’ll be part of an inspiring team of real data science thought leaders and experts within the ED&AA global team and will be a valuable contributor.
What You Bring
- Degree in one of the following fields: Computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics, or related.
- Longstanding professional experience in architecture design, making data-driven decisions, scaling and security of modern, cloud-based IT solutions.
- In-depth experience in Data Modeling, Data Designing and Enterprise Information Architecture models, and ETL tools.
- Experience with technologies to support Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, Data Modeling, Knowledge Graph.
- Extensive hands-on experience working collaboratively with product team members such as: product management, engineering, design, data science, data engineering etc.
- You have a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills along. You navigate easily in a global & multicultural environment.
- Experience in implementing a decentralized Data Mesh architecture on enterprise level
- You are result-driven as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
- You are passionate about data and analytics, and driving data value across all parts of an organization and ecosystems.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
