A Snapshot of Your Day

A typical day in your role starts with a morning team meeting to discuss planning activities and set priorities. You will review important metrics to ensure targets are on track, analyze deviations, and develop optimization strategies. Throughout the day, you'll attend meetings with project management, production, and supply chain to adjust project weightings, identify bottlenecks, and find solutions. Based on team input, you'll define action items and establish measures to optimize planning. In the afternoon, you'll work on developing planning tools and the SAP structure, and moderate strategic meetings to align planning with company goals. The day often ends with a progress review and planning for the next day.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Leadership and management of planning teams in Nuremberg, Weiz, and Zagreb
  • Oversight of planning for offers, orders, and factory loading across the three cluster sites
  • Coordination with production, project management, supply chain, and other departments to optimize factory loading, minimize downtime, and improve throughput
  • Proposing and implementing corrective actions with production execution for deviations from targets
  • Defining, tracking, and reporting on KPIs related to planning and factory loading
  • Collaborating with IT and central departments to optimize planning tools and ensure smooth implementation
  • Finding opportunities to improve planning process efficiency and effectiveness through digitalization
  • Communicating and aligning planning status, strategies, and updates with management effectively
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Long-term experience in planning or production management across multiple locations, preferably in a make-to-order production environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in SAP PS and SAP PP
  • Strong affinity for digitalization
  • Fluency in both German and English, with a willingness to travel up to 25%
