A Snapshot of Your Day
Within the business area of Grid Technologies, we are looking for a Head (f/m/d) of Product Portfolio Management Battery Energy Storage. Together with a small team you are responsible for the development and execution of the portfolio strategy for our Battery Energy Storage business. In your new role, you are reporting directly to the VP and you will play a pivotal role in growing the business, driving progress and encouraging innovation by igniting change, challenging the status quo, and embodying the company's values and behaviors.
This role can also be part-time with a minimum of 30 hours.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Responsible for developing and executing the portfolio strategy for our Battery Storage portfolio and definition of the respective R&D Roadmap to enable growth aspirations (in line with overall business strategy)
- Collaborate actively across the organization with R&D execution and Engineering, Technical Sales, Management, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders to align and implement the portfolio strategy and roadmap by fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
- Actively manage portfolio, define requirements, and ensure products & solutions strategies are considering relevant market dynamics, trends and innovations while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Responsible for R&D budget and Product Lifecycle Management.
- Oversee the creation of new product visions and their transformation into high-performing, reliable, and cost-effective products to meet market demand.
- Initiate and contribute to new and innovative solutions for customers and stay up to date on industry trends.
- Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, ideally combined with an MBA Degree or other business background.
- Long-term working experience in stationary Storage business, including ideally 5+ years in battery / storage R&D, Product Management
- Well experienced in Product & Portfolio Management, Product Strategy or similar areas
- Clear understanding of techno-commercial factors in the storage business as well as business strategic thinking, Market & regulation knowhow
- Hands-on experience from Customer exposure in Stationary Storage Business
- Project Execution or Product Development experience
- Experience in working with and leading virtual teams
- Ability to effectively influence at the executive level and within peer groups
- Strong leadership experience with a strategic mindset and innovation focus.
- Advocate for change management with clear communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and networking skills.
