At Siemens Energy, we are building the next-generation HR Data Platform – a global foundation for data consolidation, governance, and analytics that will empower the company’s future HR ecosystem. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an independent and proactive Data Governance & Quality Manager who drives consistency, process excellence, and data reliability across our Snowflake-based HR Data Hub.
In this role, you will act as a connector between product ownership, IT delivery, and global stakeholders — ensuring that governance structures, documentation, and quality routines are in place. You will be expected to take ownership, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvements with creativity and accountability.
How You'll make a difference
- Establish and maintain governance processes, documentation standards, and operating routines for our HR Data Platform.
- Work independently to identify and implement improvements that increase process efficiency, quality, and transparency.
- Coordinate data-related initiatives, milestones, and deliverables in close alignment with IT operations and product ownership.
- Lead regular meetings, reviews, and alignment sessions to ensure consistent communication and accountability across teams.
- Act as a bridge between business, IT, and data stakeholders – translating technical details into clear communication and actionable decisions.
- Support testing, validation, and readiness activities for new data releases.
- Drive continuous improvement through structured feedback loops and standardized reporting.
What you bring
- At least five years experience in data governance, quality management, or data program coordination.
- Strong project management skills – able to plan, structure, and execute cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Background in data management with good knowledge of Jira, Snowflake, SQL, and possibly Python as an integration language, ideally with former IT background.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, generating and implementing new ideas for optimization, and demonstrating high attention to detail with an outcome-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English.
You will be working within the Human Resources function – People Systems and Services, a truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open mindset, responsible for guaranteeing operational performance and budget alignment of HR Systems & Services, ensuring, and maintaining fit-for-purpose HR systems and processes, safeguarding end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation.
