Global Process Lead: Time & Attendance

The Challenge

As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, the payroll operating model moving forward will be fully comprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processing and managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers. We are looking for a Global Process Lead Time & Attendance responsible for coordinating the overall end2end Time & Attendance process working alongside a global and complementary team of senior payroll leaders, global experts and external partners ensuring and maintaining fit-for-purpose processes and implementing projects in a timely and accurate manner.

How you will make an impact

  • Reporting to the Global Head of Payroll you will play a key role in the Siemens Energy HR transformation journey where we are streamlining our system and vendor landscape, reorganizing our Time and Attendance landscape and payroll set-up, and changing our HR delivery model.
  • Process responsible for global Time & Attendance end2end processes (including but not limited to Workforce Scheduling, Absence management, Time Management, Payroll Integration, Time Tracking), covering strategic mapping, design and continuously improve T&A processes and procedures to streamline operations, sign-off on standardized process documentation as well as sign-off on local deviations (incoming and existing).
  • Together with HR Services and HR Systems team, own the digital transformation and change management of country specific Time & Attendance solutions towards a global operating model that automates processes, optimizes/reduces HR systems, and drives efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Improvement of processes & policies to ensure global standard and efficient operational delivery as well as support the system landscape consolidation
  • Be the Time Management Guide and first contact person for Time Management Processes
  • Establish and oversee process related Key Metrics.
  • Lead audits and compliance reviews with Global process authority.
  • Support country T&A projects aimed at harmonizing input to the global Time and Attendance process, policies, and systems across the organization globally.

What you bring

  • 10+ years of global experience in HR, T&A and Payroll Operations leadership.
  • Experience in running T&A projects and/or international T&A/Payroll teams
  • Validated ability to implement and streamline in-house as well as outsourced end-to-end projects and processes in the field of T&A and/or Payroll and/or HR.
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement approaches
  • Collaborative style, happy to interact with many team members e.g., in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, IT department, Finance department, management, …
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team, leading through building trust and empowering teams to deliver optimally.
  • Thrive in a global environment, working flexibly where required.
  • Must be fluent in English.

In this role you will be working within the Human Resources function – People Systems and Services, a truly global and team with varied strengths of specialists with an open mentality, responsible for ensuring Siemens Energy’s Time and Attendance processes are [MB1] compliant, accurate, timely and fit-for-purpose, with a clear governance & risk management approach, working closely with our Payroll, HR Services and HR Systems teams to safeguard end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation.
