A Snapshot of Your Day
Your day involves assembling Siemens energy GIS systems, handling SF6 gas, and troubleshooting major issues. You perform various tests, read construction drawings, and prepare detailed reports. Leading your team, you ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely, adhering to EHS requirements.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Experienced in the assembly of Siemens Energy Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS), particularly recent models such as 8DQ1-6, 8DN8-2/5/6, and 8DN9.
- Proficient in handling SF6 gas, including performing GIS CRM, SF6 gas purity, and leakage tests to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and rectifying major issues related to Siemens Energy GIS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Competent in handling GIS tools and equipment, with the ability to read and interpret Siemens construction and assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Prepare installation and inspection reports, submitting task reports to the Know How Center (KHC) for documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain awareness of construction site EHS requirements, including risk assessment, loss prevention, Zero Harm initiatives, and safety protocols for working at heights.
What You Bring
- Diploma holder in an electrical discipline, with at least 5 years of experience working on construction sites.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with excellent command of English and the ability to network, negotiate, and influence effectively.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing workloads efficiently with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility in handling multiple and diverse tasks.
- Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to perform well under pressure in time-critical situations.
- Sensitive and responsive to the needs of diverse religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups, with proven integrity and high personal standards of behavior.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite, enabling effective documentation and reporting.
