A snapshot of your day
As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating and consolidating budgets and forecasts for Blades and Vanes (B&V) Berlin. You create monthly reports and target/actual analyses, align them and conduct reviews with the departments and management. You will also calculate regulatory parameters, carry out cost center controlling, prepare data and support make-or-buy decisions. You participate in active operational controlling, prepare recommendations for management, carry out ad hoc analyzes and create presentations.
How you'll make an impact
- Budget and forecast preparation, coordination, and consolidation for maintenance, consumables, and allocations.
- Active operational controlling in collaboration with Berlin departments.
- Consolidation and TARGET/ACTUAL comparisons for financial statements with technical teams and management.
- Cost center controlling, data preparation, and support for make-or-buy decisions.
- Development of business cases and recommendations for management actions.
- Preparation of presentations, ad hoc analyses, and automated reporting improvements.
What You Bring
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP OPP/SAP R/3.
- Strong analytical skills with a background in controlling.
- Experience in factory controlling is a plus.
- Programming knowledge is desirable for automation, analysis, and simulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German.
- Willingness to travel to Germany.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
