A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Financial Controller at Siemens Energy, your day will revolve around preparing and analyzing budgets and forecasts to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. You will coordinate planning activities across Hub and Country organizations, review actual data against forecasts, and prepare variance analyses for management. Collaborating closely with the sales and execution teams, you will optimize financial processes, facilitate audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stakeholder satisfaction and support the company’s growth objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Prepare and manage the local budget and monthly forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate planning activities across Hub and Country organizations for completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct variance analysis for product lines and present findings to HUB controlling.
- Review monthly actuals and SAP reports, preparing management dashboards for decision-making.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand the order entry pipeline and ensure accurate sales forecasts.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate internal and external audits.
What You Bring
- Business Finance or Accounting degree with 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP, IFRS) and financial data analysis.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proven team player with a personal drive to support business growth and improvement initiatives.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
