A Snapshot of Your Day 

In this important and dynamic role, you will lead activities related to field service or after-sales for battery energy storage solutions (BESS). A key responsibility is developing best practices for field service activities globally, while also leading and supporting activities in your region. In the field the team will be responsible for the onsite hot commissioning of the BESS plant and services through-out the life of the plant coordinating with project management, engineering and the regional and global service teams. You will be a critical member of a global multicultural team, focused on development, go-to-market, tendering, and execution of service BESS products. You will be responsible in collaboration with your colleagues for the development and implementation of market-leading service energy storage solutions for our global customers. How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Further develop and execute our Service Portfolio including LTSA (long term service agreement) offerings for our integration BESS platform and our in-house BlueVault solutions and bringing these service offerings to market
  • Plan and execute field service, performance tests, and hot commissioning of BESS in line with deadlines, costs and quality requirements 
  • Ensure contractual obligations and compliance with legal regulations as well as occupational health and safety regulations 
  • Plan and execute technical customer clarifications regarding field service, performance testing and hot commissioning in coordination with project management 
  • Support the project management in risk and claim management and ensuring quality and work safety on the construction site including non-conformance reporting (NCR)
  • Participate in internal improvement programs (including Lean, Reviews and Lessons Learned)
  • Support the development of technical offerings, application engineering, and risk and mitigation strategies for customer projects

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or a similar technical field
  • At least 5 years of experience in field service or commissioning of electrical equipment and control systems using tools such as Omnivise, T3000, TIA Portal or similar
  • Experience in commissioning or servicing BESS plants 
  • Very good understanding of stationary battery storage systems, technologies, and components including batteries, transformers, controls, monitoring, digitalization or power conversion systems
  • Proficient skills in planning and execution in the area of component, system integration, and performance tests
  • Good knowledge in site organization and planning tools (e.g. MS Project)
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in English with German a plus
  • Motivated and ability to self-organize and prioritize complex tasks in a multicultural and global environment
  • Willingness to travel of approx. 25 %
