As a Field Service Resource Planner, you will be at the heart of our operations, targeting candidates with a background in project management and resource planning. You will work on meaningful projects that involve coordinating mobilization and travel logistics for field service personnel, ensuring seamless operations and data quality. Your work will have a significant impact on the team, clients, and partners, aligning with Siemens Energy’s mission to drive efficiency and innovation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyze market trends and project requirements to forecast future resource needs, using data-driven insights to predict demand for manpower, materials, and machinery.
• Allocate resources judiciously, ensuring each project has access to necessary tools and personnel, while balancing distribution to avoid over or underutilization.
• Create detailed schedules that outline resource needs, anticipating conflicts and preparing contingency plans to ensure smooth project execution.
• Continuously monitor resource usage, adjusting allocations in real-time to address project shifts and changes in availability.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and department heads to align resource distribution with project goals, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
• Prepare comprehensive reports that track resource status, utilization, and efficiency, providing stakeholders with transparency and insights into resource management.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, with proven experience in resource planning or project management roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in resource planning software or tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to present and gain approvals for opportunities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Experience in workforce management or capacity planning is a plus, contributing to effective resource allocation and optimization.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical audiences, enhancing stakeholder engagement.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
