A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our Grid Automation team and lead the design, planning, and engineering of protection and control systems for High Voltage Substations worldwide. You’ll develop technical solutions, review customer specifications, and ensure compliance with engineering standards. Every day, you collaborate with Project Management, domain experts, and suppliers to deliver outstanding secondary control systems. Your decisions drive successful project execution and support innovation in energy infrastructure. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define control and protection concepts for High Voltage Substation offers and projects.
- Create work packages for detailed design, configuration, parameterization, and testing.
- Lead solution development and coordinate setup activities.
- Collaborate with Substation Automation and Cybersecurity Engineering to deliver complete solutions.
- Secure quality assurance, obtain technical approvals, and conduct training and presentations for customers and partners.
What You Bring
- University degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a comparable field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with protection systems for HV substations.
- Strong knowledge of protection devices from SIEMENS, Hitachi Energy, SEL, and GE.
- Proficiency with configuration tools for bay-level protection and control devices.
- Familiarity with protection philosophies, test equipment, and communication protocols such as IEC101, IEC104, and IEC61850.
- Advanced English communication skills; German is an advantage.
