Technical Support in control systems or equipment (fire&gas, compressors, PLCs) for SE customers (remote and local mode) focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Support internal teams in preparing proposals for sales, commissioning, modernization and expansion services for industrial or power Generation plants
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide experienced technical support for control systems in thermal power plants, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization.
- Conduct root cause analysis of control system issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient operation of control systems for BoP.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize control system reliability and availability.
- Assist in crafting and implementing upgrades to improve control system performance and efficiency.
- Conduct training for plant personnel on control system operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
What You Bring
- " in Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in control systems are a plus.
- Experience in control systems within thermal power plants, with a focus on technical support and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of control system design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, along with familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment related to control systems (e.g., PCS7, Wonderware, FT-125, WinCC, Experion PKS, SCADAs).
- Willingness to travel 50%-60% to plant locations in Brazil, Argentina, and LATAM for plant support and training, with strong communication and team collaboration skills.
