A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us in a dynamic role where your day begins with a collaborative alignment meeting with fellow electrical engineers on a significant electrolysis project exceeding 100 MW.

You’ll engage in discussions with the technical project manager about potential issues, review proposals for rectifier transformers, and prepare responses for vendors.

After a productive lunch, you’ll meet with a potential customer to present our innovative power supply solutions and discuss their grid connection requirements. As your day wraps up, you’ll plan your upcoming trip for a factory acceptance test and engage in discussions about electrical simulation validation approaches with our grid consulting and simulation engineers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will coordinate and supervise electrical engineering activities in electrolysis projects, managing manhour estimations, scheduling forecasts, and risk management while collaborating with customers, suppliers, contractors, and project management.
  • Prepare design adaptations related to power supply, including specifications and RFQs, review power-supply design changes, select vendors, support suppliers, and oversee factory acceptance tests of equipment.
  • Guide and review the work of simulation engineers on system studies (load flow, short-circuit, harmonic study, arc flash, etc.) and cabinet design engineers according to plant scope.
  • Assist in creating competitive, high-quality proposals for hydrogen generation plants by coordinating proposal documents and engineering estimates, while also performing engineering risk analyses prior to submission.
  • Collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, addressing potential issues and providing solutions to rectify engineering errors.

What You Bring

  • You hold a Master’s degree in electrical engineering, specializing in power engineering or power electronics.
  • With at least 10 years of professional experience in power system design, you have a strong focus on components such as power/rectifier transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, cables, bus bars, and measuring equipment.
  • You have experience leading a team of electrical engineers and possess extensive project execution experience as part of a project team.
  • Your background includes project execution, proposal, and bid preparation.
  • You have sound knowledge in electrical power distribution, power electronics, and special expertise in DC technology with double-digit kA currents being a significant advantage.
  • You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
