A snapshot of your day
As an EQS Digitalization Expert, you will enable our organization to fully leverage the benefits of digital transformation. You will design, implement, and maintain a robust digitalization framework that supports data-driven decision-making, optimizes processes, enhances cybersecurity, and fosters innovation. Through collaboration with partners across Siemens Energy, you will ensure digital tools and practices are aligned, integrated, and strategically deployed across the Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (EQS) function.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • AI Solutions & Digital Roadmap – Collaborate with Siemens Energy experts to design and deploy AI-driven solutions, incorporating techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, vector database optimization, and fine-tuning of models. Implement a digitalization strategy aligned with the EQS portfolio and AI safety guidelines.
  • Process Digitalization & Automation – Digitize and automate EQS-related processes, enabling advanced analytics and specialized prompt engineering approaches for domain-specific AI applications.
  • Systems Integration – Establish connections between tools and AI-enhanced search systems, integrating vector databases for fast, accurate and context-aware information retrieval.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Lead responsible AI adoption projects, enhance EQS applications, and implement new solutions based on evolving needs while maintaining compliance and safety in every AI operation.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance – Develop applications compliant with Cybersecurity regulations and ISO27001 standards and support audits.

What You Bring
  • Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience – 3+ years of developing and implementing digital solutions or process improvements, preferably in the energy or industrial sector.
  • AI & Coding Skills – Strong experience using AI tools (e.g., LLMs) with secure implementation: advanced prompt engineering, RAG system design, fine-tuning techniques, and vector database management / optimization. Proven coding experience with Python and other advanced programming languages.
  • Digital Solutions in Process Reporting – Skilled in Power BI, Tableau, with ability to map complex processes and convert business requirements into effective digital solutions.
  • Experience in Cybersecurity Risk Management and ISO27001 ISMS compliance.
  • Training Skills – Ability to design, deliver, and adapt impactful training content to diverse audiences.
  • Language Skills – Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise – Experience in Cybersecurity Risk Management and ISO27001 ISMS compliance.
