A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Digital Business Process Transformation Lead in our team you will be guiding and supporting the Central organization to optimize their business processes and support to have those reflected in our major strategic platforms. Our team supports the major business processes in Central covering the whole life cycle of our products – from R&D across engineering and manufacturing through project execution and service. A typical day could start with reviewing a process and data flow with a small group of business experts to identify harmonization potentials and discuss their fit to the S4E-Unify template. After lunch you may be part in an alignment meeting with colleagues representing different stakeholder groups from the PLM Masterplan. You help them to understand the individual needs and resolve conflicts that arise thereof. During the afternoon you review change management strategies and their implementation steps or support colleagues to navigate the field of major business transformation programs in Siemens Energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Create transparency and drive collaboration between our Central organization and major business transformation programs like PLM MP, S4E-Unify or MES
  • Identify harmonization and simplification opportunities of core business processes across product lines and locations
  • Identify gaps and overlaps between scope and timeline of major initiatives and support to develop solutions to overcome those
  • Focus on an End-2-End business process perspective while being able to balance the needs of different product lines and organizations
  • Consult and collaborate to drive the digital transformation of Central by driving decisions on difficult and controversial topics towards the biggest benefit for Siemens Energy
  • Communicate and share the direction of future ways of working, digital target landscape and its implications for the business

What You Bring

  •  Bachelor’s or M.Sc. degree required
  • 5+ years of manufacturing, engineering, service business or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as a project manager in targeted selection and standardized implementation of tools across global locations
  • You are able to proactively lead and collaborate effectively to derive common targets
  • You can easily analyze data and present it to others as well has a demonstrated ability to communicate to senior management and peers alike
  • You have successfully applied your good moderation skills and methodological knowledge in the area of large system implementations
  • Good communication skills in English. Ability to travel as required.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
