A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of our spare parts sales team of Siemens Energy for Compression, preparing spare parts offers and booking orders for spare parts. This position will advise and support Client Managers to determine client needs and to identify opportunities for parts sales. You will coordinate between the different functions and stakeholders (i.e., supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, order management, regional sales support team, regional client managers).

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Single point of contact for the regional bid management team for all RCE (Reciprocating Compressors and Gas Engines) spare parts quote requests.
• Prepare formal bids and price information on an accurate and timely basis using SAP, SFDC (SalesForce.com), pricing tools.
• Make active and informed decisions on parts pricing.
• Liaising and coordinating with the relevant functions to establish timely submission of quotations. Ensure minimum quote response time (QRT) and escalate if required.
• Pro-active selling of kit boxes based on specific customer needs (outage support, inventory management, reliability improvement). Coordinate and follow-up with kit box supplier on open quotes.
• Deputy team leader for RCE team located in Painted Post, NY.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or Technical Diploma in engineering; bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in Customer Service, Sales, or Data Management; more experienced candidates may qualify for senior roles.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; professional demeanor and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy while meeting tight deadlines.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating self-motivation and knowledge of Siemens Energy’s products and services.
