The department is responsible to develop a customer adapted solution for the control equipment in modernization projects for our gas and steam turbine fleet.

The team has an open atmosphere where we support and help each other. As a control system engineer, you are responsible for control system design in our development projects and of sustaining of the standard solutions. The assignments are varied so you always get the chance to learn new tasks, but the big common challenge is to adapt new designs / solutions to fit together with the old / existing solutions.

At the beginning of the project, the days are about familiarizing yourself with the project. After the start-up phase the focus is on development of the standard solution. In the next face you have the possibility to be part of the delivery team and later also participate in the commissioning. During delivery and commissioning the task is to support the organisation during the first introduction at a customer facility and get feedback that the design / solution works as intended.                                           

How You Will Influence

As a control system designer, your assignment is to be responsible for the development of logic in our control system products.

You have great opportunities to develop in your role as a control system designer as we have all the way from development, delivery, troubleshooting and commissioning for both new deliveries and upgrade projects.

In your role, you will contribute to the development and streamlining of our control systems' products.

The role can include travel to Finspång, Sweden for participation in project meetings, FAT, customer visits and travel to sites for commissioning support.

What You Bring 

Experience of control system design and experience in SIMATIC PCS7 and/or T3000

It is meritorious that you have deep knowledge of one of our gas turbines (SGT-5/6/7/800), for example worked with commissioning.

To succeed in this role, you need the ability to collaborate and be open to helping other professional groups within the organization.

Fluent in spoken and written English

5+ years’ experience as a controls system engineer

To succeed in this role, you need the ability to collaborate and be open to support other teams within the organization.

Responsibility, ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.

Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Our experienced Budapest Engineering Centre of Competence team - consisting of 120+ qualified engineers - provides services for Instrumentation & Control, electrical and mechanical engineering and now for sales support.
