- Providing advice and support for customer contracts, consortium agreements, and sub-contracts to strictly protect Siemens Energy’s rights and entitlements.
- Supporting in contractual and commercial matters, such as the change order processes and reviewing and drafting of relevant correspondence.
- Identifying all relevant technical, commercial, and contractual aspects to support the set-up of project-specific claim strategies.
- Contributing to pursuing and defending incoming and outgoing claims by collecting and advising on relevant project records, documentation, and all pertinent facts.
- Collaborating with legal teams by providing support in substantiating relevant facts for claiming quantum, extension of time, and establishing factual defenses in arbitration proceedings.
- Performing quantum or delay analyses to establish causation for relevant events impacting the project schedule and/or the scope of work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, business administration, or other relevant degree. Advanced degrees in Business or Law are preferred but not required.
- 8+ years of demonstrated success in handling complex contracts and able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Demonstrated claim management and experience in Construction claims.
- Strong negotiations skills with the ability to support a matrixed negotiating team.
- Excellent English-speaking communication and writing skills with demonstrated ability to develop and communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of stakeholders. Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Experience with commercial contracts desired. Experience in industrial or energy markets preferred but not required.
