• Performing basic editing, proofing, formatting legal documents
• Acquiring signatures on legal documents, notarizing legal documents, preparing and prioritizing stock certificates etc.
• Legal document management and archiving

• Conducting legal research (e.g., due diligence, case and factual research, patent searches, responding to queries and investigations, preparing summary reports, etc.)

• Despite the somewhat confusing “Corporate Secretary” title, the company officer being supported is typically a Senior Management position in the Legal Department accountable for implementing decisions made by the Board of Directors.
