How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive HVDC projects to successful completion, supporting the global energy transition for our customers.
• Lead the commissioning of HVDC systems, ensuring technical excellence, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct integration and functional testing of control and protection systems in our Nuremberg test facilities.
• Prepare and execute testing procedures and programs for converter control, including thorough verification documentation.
• Support quality, risk, and claim management, and participate in improvement initiatives such as Lean, Reviews, and Lessons Learned.

What You Bring

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in commissioning industrial plants
• Knowledge of MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC, power electronics, high-voltage systems, or automation technology.
• Fluent in English is mandatory, any additional language will be considered a plus.
• Willingness for business travel and long-term assignments (around 80'% of the time) on construction sites in Europe and abroad, including optional offshore work.
• You are a communicative team player who shows initiative, handles conflicts positively, and makes confident decisions.
