In a typical day as a Controls Lead Engineer for Industrial Application Gas Turbines at Siemens Energy, you would perform specialized tasks during major overhauls and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy work procedures. You would collaborate with customer personnel to provide quality service, develop detailed outage plans, and supervise planned outages at gas turbine sites while documenting all maintenance and repair work. Your expertise in gas turbine control systems and hands-on experience with various models would be essential in assessing equipment conditions and implementing necessary repairs or improvements.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Perform complex and specialized tasks on Industrial Application Gas Turbines during major overhauls, new installations, and troubleshooting.
• Execute repair or modification projects in accordance with Siemens Energy work procedures.
• Complete documentation for all installations, inspections, maintenance, repair work, and failure analysis.
• Collaborate with customer personnel to deliver quality service and provide feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
• Develop detailed outage plans and supervise planned outages at gas turbine sites.
• Assess equipment condition and apply repair or improvement measures based on Siemens standards.

What You Bring

• Strong background as a controls lead engineer on SGT and MGT, with hands-on knowledge of control systems related to Siemens Gas Turbines (SGT 600, 700, 750, 800).
• Proven understanding of gas turbines within the Oil & Gas industry, including Siemens, RWG, and GE.
• Experience with control systems such as PSC7, Advent, FT125, and T3000 is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial gas turbines, including SGT 400, SGT 600, MGT 700, and MGT 800.
• Familiarity with control systems like Allen Bradley, T3000, Mark VI, ABB, HMI, CCC, S7, PCS7, and SCAUT is a plus.
• Experience in modifications and upgrades, with exposure to T3000 control systems and burner replacements.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet
