Our Controls & Digitalization Organization seeks a highly motivated and self-driven Commercial Sales Manager to join our Finance team for the Middle East Region. This role involves negotiating and managing commercial proposals for developing Controls & Digitalization orders and projects. These may include Controls Modernizations, Upgrades, Service Contracts, and Digital Solutions opportunities.

As a project entrepreneur, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects during the bidding phase. Additionally, you will support the preparation and presentation of opportunities throughout the bidding process for the Gas Service Middle East organization.

Identifying key market conditions, regulations, and risks is essential for effectively evaluating potential and profitable opportunities. Your ability to analyze data, financial proficiency, and proactive approach will be crucial for success in this role.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to review contract terms, ensuring alignment with company policies and minimizing risk exposure.
  • Leading the negotiation of commercial T&Cs and consortium contracts in coordination with the relevant departments
  • Ensure all contract negotiations and bids adhere to internal regulations and sales process, including LoA (Limits of Authority) guidelines and PATAC (Tax concepts)
  • You analyze tender and contract requirements, identify, manage, and mitigate risks in the commercial areas, including currency risks, financial security instruments, payment terms, insurances, export control & customs and compliance.
  • Define sales strategy, including but not limited to risk mitigation strategies and pricing structures, to optimize outcomes and achieve targets.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless execution of commercial activities.
  • Support the sales manager in managing key client relationships, addressing commercial-related inquiries or issues promptly and effectively.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel within the Middle East region is required.
  • Proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic or German is considered an advantage.
