A Snapshot of Your Day
The person will be responsible for the civil works scope for the turnkey projects during the offer stage as well as afterwards for the execution of High Voltage substations, converter station, storage projects or flexible ac transmission systems including engineering and construction.
During offer stage, the role will collaborate with the tender responsible and during execution to Project Manager.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Support the sales/tender manager during offer stage to ensure that the projects fulfill technical and economical requirements
· Develop together with the tender manager the civil works strategy and support purchase responsible to define the better partners.
· Analyze and check engineering and civil works offers to define the final subcontractor
· Negotiate together with contract manager the contracts with the suppliers that will be involve in the construction site.
· During execution, will responsible for of the civil engineering, civil works, and all related construction contracts, including claim management and cost control.
· Relationship with the customer, internal partners and subcontractors.
· Responsible for profit & loss of construction subcontractors.
· Control of claims and variation orders of subcontractors.
· Coordination with other departments: PRL, environmental, purchasing, legal.
What You Bring
· Bachelor or Master degree in civil engineering or a related area, or equivalent experience.
· Technical knowledge and proven experience more than 5 years in civil works including earthworks, foundations, prefabricated buildings, etc.
· Experience with contract management minimum 3 years.
· High level of spoken and written Spanish and English.
· Availability to travel to the sites (inside Spain) in short visits.
