Join our dynamic team as a Level 1 CT Radiographer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the industrial Computed Tomography (CT) inspection workflow for Additive Manufacturing (AM) components. You will operate CT scanning equipment under supervision, ensuring that each scan adheres to defined protocols. Your work will be pivotal in delivering defect-free, high-quality AM parts through safe, accurate, and consistent non-destructive inspections. Imagine being at the forefront of innovation, contributing to the quality assurance of advanced manufacturing processes!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct CT scans on AM components using established inspection techniques to ensure quality.
- Prepare parts for scanning, including fixturing, orientation, and labeling, to facilitate accurate inspections.
- Support scanning for a variety of materials such as Ti64, Inconel 718, and Stainless Steel.
- Generate initial reconstruction datasets using approved software, contributing to the overall inspection process.
- Follow all internal radiation safety procedures and legislation to maintain a safe working environment.
What You Bring
- You have experience in industrial Radiography or non-destructive testing, providing a solid foundation for this role.
- A basic understanding of industrial digital radiographic setups is essential for effective performance.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or quality inspection environments will enhance your contributions.
- Strong digital skills and the ability to work with technical software are crucial for data management and analysis.
- A commitment to professional growth, aiming for a DRT Level 2 capability (e.g., NAS410/EN4179).
