In this important and dynamic role, you will lead activities from defining service project offers, requirements, specifications, technical negotiations, to test procedures for availability and performance guarantees for battery energy storage solutions (BESS). You will be a key member of a global multicultural team, focused on development, go-to-market, tendering, and execution of service BESS products. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Define project specific guarantees for availability and performance including contract definition and support contract negotiations. 
• Support the development of technical offerings, application engineering, risk and mitigation strategies for customer projects.
• Lead performance guarantee concepts around the service operation and reliability of the systems including RAMS (reliability, availability, maintenance, and safety) and statistical analysis.
• Develop and maintain methods and tools for BESS availability and performance calculations and guarantees. 
• Improve RAMS study methodology and in-house tools, be able to work with industry standard RAMS software.
• Collect and analyze failure data (MTBF, MTTR) during testing, commissioning, and operations to improve system performance.
• Managing critical data and inputs for the various guarantees and drive for best-in-class guarantees.
• Support the entire operational lifecycle, including RAMS plans, verification, and validation activities.
• Participate in internal improvement programs (including Lean, Reviews and Lessons Learned).

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or a similar technical field.
• Experience in RAMS methodologies, safety engineering, or reliability testing within industries such as power, energy, automotive, or industrial plant engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience of stationary battery storage systems, technologies, and components including batteries, transformers, controls, monitoring, digitalization or power conversion systems.
• Deep understanding and application of service offerings including capacity guarantees, reliability and availability.
• Familiar with statistical and probabilistic analysis of performance calculations. 
• Familiar with standards relevant for BESS, reliability studies and operation & maintenance.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in English with German a plus.
• Motivated and ability to self-organize and prioritize complex tasks in a multicultural and global environment.
• Willingness to travel of approx. 15 %
