A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our Gas Services division, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering low-emission power generation solutions. You will support the customer interface within your assigned district, managing non-conformance costs while identifying technical and commercial risks and opportunities. Imagine collaborating with internal and external customers to develop complex maintenance plans and overseeing on-site technical projects that involve the design, development, installation, and maintenance of sophisticated equipment and systems. Your contributions will directly impact the district’s financial performance, as you build purchase orders, track vendor invoices, and ensure accurate job closeouts. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will manage the customer interface within your district, addressing non-conformance costs and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Support the performance of on-site technical projects, ensuring the successful design, development, installation, and maintenance of complex systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to create detailed maintenance plans that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Build and monitor purchase orders for vendors, ensuring accurate tracking of project costs and timely job closeouts.
  • Provide daily support to the platform team, addressing emergent customer requests and fostering continuous improvement in Siemens Energy products and services.

What You Bring

  • You have experience in the general maintenance of large gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and associated equipment, with a preference for technical expertise in gas turbine maintenance and operation.
  • A BS/BA in a business-related field or engineering, coupled with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • You possess experience working with both union and non-union labor.
  • Proficiency in Primavera and/or Microsoft Project scheduling software, SAP, and Excel is essential, along with experience in developing and managing financial budgets.
  • You are legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization, and you are located in the Kansas City District Office.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
