Position Objective:
This position of Planning and Implementation engineer serves as a company site and offsite technical and administrative representation, involving traveling to both onshore and offshore locations. Dealing with customer service assignment including onsite preventive and scheduled maintenances, service work, call-out services and new unit installation commissioning activities on gas turbines product lines and packages.
Planning and Implementation
This involves consolidated outage planning and implementation of service measures on gas turbines, generators and steam turbines is carried out on plants with Siemens Energy gas turbines above 60MW by the team of Planning and Implementation (P&I).
Job Description
- reparation and execution of service measures such as inspections, HGPI, eHGPI, Major Inspection,

- reparation of a project-specific schedule, if required between GT, DT and Geno consolidated including personnel resources, based on existing contract constellations or customer orders
- support for sales in processing offers (schedule, personnel requirements, tools, consumables, lay down area)
- resentation of the developed service concepts at internal and external audit meetings with internal and external customers
- tion and integration of subcontractors and workshops
- ration with the respective national companies and Regional Security Officers (RSO)
- rocessing of the measures in SAP (filling in documents, setting a status, etc.)
- reparation and processing of the audit in accordance with FS technical instructions
- Initiation the creation of the audit CD (check contents and ensure forwarding to the site manager)

Mission:
Under applicable direction and instructions, independently determines and develops approaches to solutions to customer requirements and problems.
Environmental, Health and Safety: Understands and complies with company and customer safety policies and procedures. Ensure the work permit system is complied with. Ensure safe site and practices. Participate by attending general safety and toolbox safety meetings. Suggest safety improvements.
Quality: Ensure customer expectations are exceeded. Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policy, manufacturer's recommendations and good practices.

Analyzing: Must have basic knowledge of methods and experience in the categories of maintenance on the products and various equipment associated with primary package.
Project Monitoring: Lead, must be able to recognize abnormal sounds vibrations and potential safety problems at inception and take appropriate action to prevent a serious safety hazard that could develop to equipment damage or loss of production. Provide timely and daily reports to the relevant manager on on-going projects or daily work. Keep abreast of pending work and personnel required to complete the projects. Ensure that necessary parts are available and submit materials requisitions when required.
Scheduling: Provide short to medium term scheduling of personnel and materials required for smooth planned / unplanned maintenances and commissioning of new unis and/or power plants.
Timing: Adequate strategy of engaging operations in releasing equipment in a timely manner for maintenance. Will be, required to assist in a technical manner with the operations and maintenance crew in any area if the workload exceeds the number of personnel available.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Leadership capacity and capability for site interfacing and team management
· Monitor maintenance services or installation support to ensure they are carried out within company policy, manufacturers’ recommendations and in a safe manner.
· Ensure major interventions are planned, executed on schedule and within commercial orders.
Qualifications:
· Must have vast and verifiable above 10-years of working experience on heavy duty gas turbines mechanical systems and controls systems in a related industry.
· Technical multi-skills on both controls and mechanical is mandatory.
· Computer literacy on MS Windows Suite, advanced software applications and proficiency in electronic hardware handling.
· Will have served on recognized gas turbine product lines and/or having long period of continuous occupation as gas turbines controls engineer.
· Will possess a technical qualification in Engineering Degrees; preferably in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. Mater degree will be an added advantage
· Experience in an onshore/offshore environment is essential.
· Deep knowledge of rotating equipment packages background will be an asset.
· Familiarity with Gas Turbine engine theory, packages systems theory and operational will be an asset.
