A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Senior Strategic Project Manager (f/m/d) within the Grid Technologies Switchgears Network Optimization organization, you will play a key role in driving and supporting global transformation initiatives across our international manufacturing network. Working closely with stakeholders across functions and regions, you will contribute significantly to the successful transformation of our factory network and the achievement of strategic business objectives.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing complex strategic projects and transformation programs. You will ensure the successful delivery of projects by meeting defined targets related to quality, schedule, and budget while maintaining alignment with overall business goals. Acting as a central coordination point, you will facilitate collaboration between global teams and drive sustainable change across the organization.

Reporting directly to the Head of Network Optimization, you will oversee both the technical and commercial success of assigned projects in accordance with project-specific objectives and target agreements. Leveraging your strong project management expertise and international experience, you will support decision-making processes, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.

This role is ideally suited for an experienced Business Project Manager with a proven track record in transformation and change initiatives. How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Develop and manage the Network Optimization roadmap 
  • Lead cross-functional strategic programs 
  • Set up planning & reporting structure for tracking & following up on the progress of the Programs 
  • Responsible for the overall success of the programs, leading the project team, managing and reporting to Steering Committee and stakeholders 
  • Drive footprint and portfolio optimization studies 
  • Facilitate executive governance and performance reviews 
  • Identification and sharing of improvements and best practices within the Switchgear Factory Network 
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Extensive professional experience in the energy industry, with a strong background in Grid Technologies and manufacturing network management
  • Extensive experience within Grid Technologies, Switchgear execution units, and related business functions
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills in an international and cross-functional environment
  • Strategic and global mindset combined with the ability to apply methodologies and execute complex transformation plans effectively
  • Experience working in complex matrix organizations and willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of working time
