A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Safety Professional, you will be a key partner to our manufacturing teams, responsible for fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring environmental compliance. You will provide daily, hands-on support and guidance, collaborating with employees, contractors, and leadership to identify risks and implement effective EHS solutions in a dynamic industrial setting. Your primary focus will be the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs. This includes conducting risk assessments, leading incident investigations, and ensuring all operations align with federal and state regulations (such as OSHA, EPA) and international standards (ISO 14001/45001). You will be instrumental in analyzing process changes to prevent negative EHS impacts and driving initiatives that reduce employee risk and enhance environmental performance. Success in this role requires a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset. You will be responsible for developing and delivering EHS training, conducting audits, and managing critical documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in hazardous waste management, root cause analysis, and safety principles to support our organization's commitment to a Zero Harm workplace.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Prepare and submit required EHS reports and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and conform to business requirements.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments in the manufacturing environment to identify and correct hazards. Lead or participate in incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and track corrective and preventive actions to completion. Facilitate Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for new or modified tasks and equipment to ensure safe operating procedures.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training content for employees, contractors, and management on topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and safe work practices. Act as a visible EHS presence on the shop floor, providing daily coaching and mentorship to foster a strong safety culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to integrate EHS principles into daily activities and projects.
