We work in a fast-paced commercial project environment with the customer and the technology in focus. Our main responsibility is to lead the technical project implementation, in the area electrical and controls, within the delivery project organization for Industrial Gas Turbines and Heat Pumps. The work is done in close collaboration with customers, customers collaborative partners but also the project management organization and other departments within the Industrial Gas Turbine organization in Siemens Energy. In addition, you will also facilitate technical interface throughout our Sales, R&D and Service organizations.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the electrical engineering team within the delivery project organization.
• Be the technical interface to the customer and work closely with the project manager. You will have approximately 20 travelling days per year.
• Work strategic and efficient against project milestones and deadlines in the project work.
• Being a team player with focus on cooperation with our in-company interfaces.

What You Bring

• You are an engineer with experience within electrical and/or controls.
• You are strategic, with genuine interest of leadership, people development and great communications skills.
• You are interested in continuous change and development.
• You have the ability to build networks & communicate in all directions, especially in close collaboration with our mechanical counterpart.
• Having a MGT Gas turbine know how is desirable.
• Interest to communicate with people from different experiences and cultures.
• You can communicate fluent in English. Swedish is a benefit and not mandatory.

About the Team

The team of Electrical Project Engineering consists of approximately 18 employees with great experiences and knowhow related to lead engineering of projects. All team members have the position as Project Lead Engineer (PLE) or/and Project Engineering Manager (PEM) in one (1) or several order project. Together with the other three PLE teams, within MGT, we jointly share the responsibility to nominate and appoint PLE´s to our order projects regardless of application/market but our defined focus area is Gas Turbines and Heat Pumps.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
