A Snapshot of Your Day
As an L2 Remote Centre Operator, you will be part of a 24×7 operational team responsible for second‑level remote monitoring, diagnostics, and control of wind turbine generators (WTGs) and electrical substations. You will work with advanced monitoring tools, support digitization initiatives, perform real‑time issue analysis, and collaborate with field teams to ensure safe and efficient operational performance across the fleet under contract.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform second‑level remote operation activities using platforms such as Diagnostika, Adwen, and oOEM tools within the Remote Center.
- Execute shift duties in a 24×7 operational model (morning, afternoon, night; Monday to Sunday).
- Monitor and control electrical substations in real time, ensuring correct execution of remote‑year maintenance activities.
- Support digitization initiatives by reporting system incidents, identifying process inefficiencies, and contributing to continuous improvement of central monitoring & control systems.
- Issue and execute power control commands and setpoints as required by national and international grid operators (e.g., REE).
- Perform diagnostics and root‑cause analysis to resolve operational issues and improve turbine and substation performance.
- Escalate and activate local field operation teams for incidents not solvable remotely.
What You Bring
- Technical educational background (diploma/degree in engineering or equivalent).
- Knowledge or hands‑on experience with WTG operational processes.
- Desirable WTG technical expertise.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work systematically, autonomously, and with attention to detail.
- Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to collaborate.
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2).
About the Team
You will be part of the Remote Operations Center (ROC), working alongside second‑level specialists and reporting to the RC IN Second Level Team Lead. While you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, there are no direct reports under this role. The environment is highly dynamic, with continuous operations, troubleshooting, and real‑time decision‑making, supported by teamwork and strong communication.
