A Snapshot of Your Day
As a SCRUM Master, you will be a pivotal leader in our Agile transformation, responsible for guiding and coaching software development teams to optimize their performance and delivery. You will champion Agile principles and the Scrum framework, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Your primary objective is to facilitate the team's progress, remove impediments, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, impactful products that align with our strategic goals. Your daily activities will involve facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. You will work closely with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring clarity and readiness for the development team. A key part of your role will be to identify and resolve obstacles, shield the team from external distractions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement through feedback and data-driven insights. We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience in software development and Agile delivery, backed by a deep understanding of SAFe and other Agile frameworks. The ideal individual will possess strong technical acumen in cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and data architecture, combined with exceptional leadership and communication skills. You will be a servant-leader, dedicated to empowering your team, resolving conflicts, and building a productive environment where team members take ownership and pride in their work.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- 50% Agile & Scrum Facilitation
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure the team adheres to the Scrum framework and Agile principles in their daily work.
- Guide and coach the development team towards higher Scrum maturity and self-organization.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and tracking action items.
- 30% Team Enablement & Obstacle Removal
- Identify, track, and remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
- Resolve conflicts within the team and with external stakeholders to maintain a productive environment.
- Help the team implement changes effectively and adapt to new processes or technologies.
- Foster an environment where team members feel empowered to take ownership of the product and their work.
- Fostering psychological safety
- 20% Stakeholder & Backlog Management
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage the product backlog and prepare for upcoming sprints.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications related to the team's work.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
- Track team performance using relevant KPIs and ensure work meets quality standards at the end of each sprint.
