Join our dynamic Sourcing Process Excellence and Supplier Management Team at Siemens Energy, where you will gain invaluable hands-on experience in procurement processes and supplier management. Imagine being at the forefront of global standardization and digitization of strategic purchasing, contributing to a transparent database that drives efficiency. You will support quality assurance and master data maintenance across various purchasing tools, while also assisting in the development of a systematic and digitized supplier management concept. Your role will empower you to participate in process governance initiatives and optimization efforts, making a real impact on our internal processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with the team to standardize and digitize the strategic purchasing process, enhancing transparency and efficiency.
- Support quality assurance and maintain master data for various purchasing tools, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in developing and implementing a systematic supplier management concept tailored for Siemens Energy.
- Participate in process governance and sourcing excellence initiatives, driving continuous improvement.
- Contribute to regular analyses, evaluations, and the optimization or automation of existing processes.
- Engage in project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and supporting training and learning activities.
What You Bring
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Cybernetics, or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with experience in Office 365 and SharePoint.
- Comfortable using reporting and visualization tools, with a strong affinity for data interpretation.
- Familiarity with digital enterprise tools and platforms such as SAP, ARIBA, Celonis, PowerBI, Alteryx, and Machine Learning is preferred.
- Advanced English language skills are required, along with a quality-focused, self-motivated, and independent work ethic.
- Availability to work for a min. 30 hours per week.
