A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Service Manager you will be responsible for the successful execution of our service activities in multiple power plants worldwide continuously in I&C and Electrical scope. You will have to align internally with experts inside our and other Siemens Energy organizations and towards the customer with regards scope, scheduling and resources. You will need to understand the needs and requirements of your customers and offer additional services whenever possible.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Your new field of activity - challenging and future-oriented
- You are clarifying incoming Service Requests for electrical and I&C scope. You elaborate and quote respective service solutions
- You are responsible for the management of international long-term maintenance service contracts (LTP’s) for the electrical and I&C scope (quality, costs, deadlines)
- You are a permanent contact person for the customer with the aim of deepening customer loyalty and generating additional business in service
- You deal with the controlling and reporting of the service contracts or projects
- You manage service jobs for e.g. revisions and troubleshooting (electrical and I&C scope). In doing so, you will focus on the aspects of "deployment-related personnel planning"; "Management of the service experts and those involved in the assignment before, during and after the service job" and "cost-controlling and invoicing of the service jobs"
What You Bring
- You have successfully completed a university degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, process engineering or mechanical engineering
- You have relevant / several years of professional experience in control technology or electrical engineering, preferably in the turbine / generator area or in adjacent areas of the power plant or the oil & gas industry.
- You are experienced in project management of small projects
- You are open to future-oriented topics such as digitization and cyber security.
- You have business fluent knowledge of German and English
