  • Planning and simulation of large-scale multi-energy complementary microgrid sEstablish microgrid models according to actual projects, including but not limited to power system architecture, power electronic equipment, energy management and control strategies, and optimize system operation efficiency, stability and reliability.

  • Design and modeling of control and protection strategies and algorithms for power systems such as FACTs, HVDC, renewable energy power generation integration, and m
  • Power quality simulation analysis and safe operation optimization of new power system, such as steady-state, transient, medium and long-term dynamic, short-circuit current calculation, voltage and frequency stability c
  • Optimizing the dynamic behavior of the high voltage converter (e.g., black-start and network restoration, grid forming controls, multi-terminal systems) according to customer and national grid code requirements
  • Analyzing sub-synchronous torsional/control interactions and the harmonic converter impedance, as well as potential interactions between the converter and other controlled devices in the power system
  • Developing and validating simulation models for diverse EMT simulation tools (e.g., PSCAD/EMTDC, Matlab/Simulink, EMTP-RV)
  • Customer trainings for simulation models and presentation of study results to customer
  • Continuous improvement and standardization of simulation models, study procedures and methods, processes in project execution as well as documentation of results
  • Supporting the project management in technical discussions, participating in customer meetings, and coordinating external partners

Job requirements:
