A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY
 
A day in the life of an Operational Excellence Professional is dynamic, impactful, and centers around enhancing business processes, fostering continuous improvement, and driving quality culture. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, implement Lean methodologies, and support transformation projects. Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards is integral to your role, along with providing guidance and coaching to empower others in adopting best practices.
 
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
 
Drive Business Process Quality

Analyze, design, and improve non-manufacturing business processes to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and increase customer satisfaction.

Utilize Lean methodologies such as SIPOCs, Value Stream Mapping, PDCA, and RCA to optimize operations.

Support Continuous Improvement and Transformation

Lead or support transformation projects to ensure readiness for new products, processes, or systems.

Develop and implement documentation such as business requirements, process maps, and gap analyses.

Foster Collaboration and Quality Culture

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Business Excellence strategies, sharing best practices, and coaching on Lean tools.

Actively promote a quality-first culture by embedding lessons learned into operations and driving compliance with company policies.

Monitor and Report Progress

Define and track performance indicators to measure the success of improvement initiatives.

Provide transparent status updates and reporting to stakeholders to inform decision-making.

Ensure Safety and Regulatory Compliance

Uphold Siemens’ Health and Safety policies by promoting safe work practices and participating in Zero Harm initiatives.

Ensure all processes and documentation comply with regulatory and quality assurance standards.

WHAT YOU BRING
 
Qualifications and Skills:

Mandatory:

Strong Lean/Business Improvement skills and experience, including methodologies like SIPOC, PDCA, and 8D problem-solving.

 Proficiency with tools like Microsoft office 365

Ability to work collaboratively and foster continuous improvement in diverse team

Desirable:

IOSH Managing Safely certification.

NVQ BIT Levels 2, 3, or 4.

Familiarity with EFQM, Six Sigma principles, and project management for improvement initiatives.
