A Snapshot of your Day

This position requires 2+ years of experience with manual lathes or milling machines. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and strict adherence to safety standards. Candidates must accurately interpret blueprints and use precision tools. The role offers career development in a diverse and supportive environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Adhere to safety rules, keep work area clean, and complete all safety training.
  • Report safety incidents and conduct safety audits.
  • Participate in safety and toolbox meetings.
  • Operate tools and equipment like milling machines, lathes, and cranes.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment.
  • Support the Lead Hand Millwright/Machinist and verify other millwrights' measurements to ISO standards.
  • Complete work documents and contribute to high safety and quality standards.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machinist.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measurement tools up to 0.0005”.
  • Capable of operating manual Lathes, VTLs, and Milling Machines independently.
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs and possess strong attention to detail.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
