Siemens Energy Finance B.V. (“Siemens Energy Finance” SEF) is part of the group financing function of Siemens Energy Treasury and located in Zoeterwoude. The Company acts as a finance company for the benefit of Siemens Energy AG and Siemens Energy Group companies.


The main activities are conducting financial transactions for the account of third parties, other companies, businesses, enterprises and companies and businesses that are affiliated with the company in the Siemens Energy group, withdrawing, lending out and borrowing money.


You will also have the ability to support in the activities of our local Siemens Energy operational company and our Siemens Energy Holding.


Your Profile

  • BA/BS/Master’s Degree in Business or Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional accreditation
  • Ideally 3-5 years working experience, preferably within an accounting firm
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP as well as related accounting & closing activities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments and the related accounting implications
  • A business and result oriented attitude, combined with accuracy and a problem-solving mindset being able to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of SAP and BI Tools is highly appreciated, sound knowledge of MS Office is a must
  • Good communication skills in English
  • To be a team player in a diverse team and having the ability to operate independent after guidance


Your main responsibilities and activities

  • Execute operational accounting controlling/reviews: reviews, analysis (aged positions, strange developments, quality checks) etc.
  • Coordinate and execute monthly closing procedures
  • Preparation of statutory standalone financial statements under IFRS and Dutch GAAP
  • Execute standard reporting according to the needs
  • Provide add hock support to accounting and controlling team
  • Support in review of fair value positions of non-current assets
  • Support in nonstandard and new transactions
  • Contribute/support in the audit process
  • Joining projects, such as SAP 4 Hana implementation as well as digitalization and automatization initiatives
  • Supporting on advising the local management, business and other stakeholders.
