A Snapshot of Your Day
A typical day in this role involves overseeing the Integrated Management System (IMS) to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. You'll start your day reviewing and updating IMS policies and procedures, followed by coordinating internal audits and supporting external audit activities. Throughout the day, you'll analyze and document system deficiencies, providing reports on IMS results and recommending continuous improvements. Your role also includes planning and executing risk management activities, ensuring that all processes are effective and aligned with the company's objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop, implement, and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Coordinate internal audits and support external audit activities.
- Plan and implement risk management activities to align processes with company objectives.
- Analyze, document, and report on system deficiencies, providing recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Supervise and report on the efficiency of the IMS, including results of audits and management reviews.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business or Manufacturing.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISO.
- Experience: Prior experience in quality management, auditing, and process improvement is highly desirable.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
