A Snapshot of Your Day
You are a Field Service Technician who is procedure and process driven. You utilize a questioning attitude supporting outages major or minor and short & extended duration (up to 3 months) primarily within North America. You support outage field inspection activities through the application of inspection systems and support the inspection of combustion turbine and generators as well as balance of plant equipment such as piping at our customers power plants. You are very flexible and professional in working with different groups and can handle constant change while keeping focus on the customer and the work at hand, on the customers site and away from your home location.

What You Bring
- High School diploma or GED required. Up to 2 years of related industry experience (i.e., aircraft, rotating equipment, compressor, industrial or turbo shaft) and Combustion turbine experience either in power plant technology or the jet engine aeroderivative technology.
- Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays (1st or 2nd shift) up to 12 hours and the Ability to travel up to 75% (domestic and international).
- Working knowledge and understanding of precision equipment and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs (heavy lifting). Work outdoors to heights of 40ft, inside confined spaces (3 to 5 ft. circumference), climbing on scaffolding and putting your body in non-standard positions as required by the task.
- Heavy Equipment Mechanical or Plant Maintenance Experience is a preferred.
- Forklift, manlift, and lull forklift experience a plus, TWCC and OSHA 10 a plus, NCCER basic rigger a plus
