A Snapshot of Your Day


Working as part of a global team, collaborating with colleagues in Germany, India and France, you will be responsible for control system scope of a rotating equipment project together with other project members and content provider, mainly System Engineering.


How You’ll Make an Impact


  • Design and specify Unit Control Systems, Instrumentation, and Low Voltage Wiring systems which compliment Rotating Machinery used in Industrial Applications - namely compression, power generation and Oil-Gas. Design drawings including P&I diagrams, instrument lists, control logics and description, control panel layout, I/O termination, control panel power distribution, instrumentation installation, motor control schematics, hardwired control circuits.
  • Specify and calculate control valves.
  • Incorporates Siemens Energy design standards and guidelines and adapts the assigned scope to meet project-specific requirements, due to Customer Specifications and follows international standard requirements.
  • Conduct Unit Control Panel factory acceptance tests (FAT).
  • Monitors and runs the engineering schedule and hours-budget for the assigned scope, including on-time release of deliverables.
  • Conducts timely design reviews on the assigned scope and supplies to project design reviews.
  • Support detail engineering in collaboration with internal and external Customers.
  • Innovate, creatively apply lessons learned, and implement efficient solutions for COMOS PT development, requirements management, that prevent non-conformances during project execution.


What You Bring


  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in field (Instrumentation/Controls/Electro-technical), Diploma (State-certified technical engineer) with proven experience shall also be considered.
  • 3 years of experience in Rotating Equipment (Compressors, Turbines) for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications, achieved through working on Industrial Applications Products in Controls and Instrumentation Engineering are preferred.
  • Experience in Electrical Equipment Engineering shall be considered.
  • Application experience with objects-oriented Engineering Software e.g., COMOS PT.
  • Knowledge and use of software: Teamcenter, SAP, Jira, Microsoft office.
  • Know-how of standards: API 670 (Machinery Protection System), IEC 60079 (Explosive Atmosphere Standards), IEC 61511: Functional safety - Safety instrumented systems for the process industry sector.
  • Good Analytical & Cross-cultural skills.
  • Proficiency in English Language.
  • Initial experience gained in leadership of technical and organizational management of a team will have an advantage
