A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Backend developer for cloud-native applications you will be a member of a team designing and implementing cloud-based applications and digital services as part of the Engineering Ecosystem in the Energy Transmission Solutions domain.

Collaborating with an internationally distributed team of developers and engineers, you will contribute to innovative solutions that drive our projects forward, making a meaningful impact in the energy sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Build front-end software using state of the art cloud technologies
  • Implement great user experiences in collaboration with our UX team 
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of continually increasing our development productivity
  • Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s (or higher) Degree in Computer Science with over two years of real-world programming experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of developing rich Internet applications using HTML5 and JavaScript, particularly with frameworks like React and Svelte.
  • Experience implementing UX design principles and web accessibility standards, including WAI-ARIA guidelines.
  • Proficiency in using component frameworks (e.g., Ant Design, Material-UI) and design systems, ideally Figma, along with developing and improving component UI libraries.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python, with experience integrating synchronous and asynchronous APIs.
  • Good understanding of DevOps principles, experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-national agile team with excellent communication skills.
